The shop

In 1960, in the heart of Val di Sole, Palmieri began as a household goods shop.

Since then, over more than sixty years of activity and across several generations, the company has followed a path of continuous evolution, while maintaining a strong connection with the local area, materials, and the culture of making.

What initially began as a retail space dedicated to everyday objects has gradually evolved into a broader environment, where products, design, experience, and memory coexist.

The shop remains at the heart of Palmieri, with a selection of products of excellence chosen through careful research into quality and functionality. Over time, new spaces and opportunities for interaction have developed around this core activity.

The kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen allows tools and solutions to be experienced directly through moments dedicated to preparation, tasting, and sharing. The product can therefore be experienced in its practical dimension, establishing a direct relationship with those who use it.

The Workshop

In the Workshop, attention instead focuses on repair and on extending the life of objects. Appliances are examined, dismantled, and repaired, while once a month the Workshop hosts Repair Cafés, creating opportunities to share skills and knowledge. A concrete approach to promoting a culture of care, maintenance, and circularity.

The Gallery of Memories

The same attention to durability and memory can be found in the Gallery of Memories, a space dedicated to objects belonging to the history of the family and the local area. Radios, records, and gramophones introduce a dimension of memory, while skis, boots, and vintage equipment tell the story of the relationship with the mountains and Val di Sole.

The skis displayed in the Gallery are not simply remnants of the past. Once a year, they return to the snow during the Trofeo Val di Sole, a competition dedicated to vintage skiers, bringing equipment from the valley’s history back into use.

When a ski can no longer return to the slopes, its material can take on a new function. Through a process of design and transformation, the skis are recovered and turned into bespoke armchairs, lamps, tables, and furnishing elements. The marks of time and the original characteristics of the material remain an integral part of the new design.
